There is no question that change is accelerating
for all of us in every aspect of our lives. We try to run faster, but
stress and uncertainty hold us back. It's a wake up call for all of
us. We are in search of a greater satisfaction from our job that goes
beyond a desire for better pay and benefits.
Simply put "If the work that people do is not aligned with their
genuine interests, values, strengths and personal style then their work
will suffer, they will suffer and those they work with will suffer as
well."
- Aligning Your Highest Purpose and Passion
Benefits
- re-awaken your deepest purpose and passion
- to identify the source of your challenge
- determine your own life's purpose statement?
- examine whether you are in alignment(and how to
get there)
- learn to use the available tools to assist in
aligning your workplace team
Inspiration is contagious. The greatest way to
honour our team members is to help them align their purpose and passion
to the company's. The process begins with a leader that is in total
alignment of their own purpose and passion who then able to inspires
others in the workplace.
Imagine for a moment a time in your life when you were so involved with
a project that you loved. It may have been a hobby, a special project,
or a course you were studying. Did time exist? For most of us when immersed
in activities that tap into our passion time passes quickly. Our awareness
of time disappears as we become more aligned with purpose and we become
'self-inspired' - creative, resourceful and confident.
An inspired workforce is a team that can handle stress and changes easily
and that is much more productive!
- Knowing and Breathing the Values that Drive
Our Culture
Benefits
- re-examine and redefine your own personal values.
- learn to use a 'value audit' tool to determine
the core values and culture principles of your organization.
- examine ways to align your personal values to the
organization's.
- learn to achieve 'Atonement' (AT-ONE-MENT)
Knowledge of your personal values and that of your organization,
is the most effective and natural way to lead your company. It is
an integrative process that creates the kind of culture that will
support and sustain a flourishing business, in spite of adversity
or tough competition.
Many organizations have a Code of Business Conduct. There may be slogans
written on the sidewall and incorporated in leadership speeches. This
alone does not sustain and hold our team together. The foundation
lies in knowing what your personal values are. Then, breathe those
values into our every day's lives. The magic happens when those values
are in alignment to that of your organization's, you will be better
equipped to develop and implement strategies, policies and practices,
recruiting, and career and succession planning. This builds a strong
bond of both cohesion and credibility.
- Truth and Consequences
Benefits
- discover the powerful implications of truth telling
- develop and implement rules governing truth telling
- tap into the unabridged wisdom of your team
- examine policies and methods that allow your workplace
team to speak up without fear of recrimination.
- Increase your awareness of the invisible fabric that
holds the business of the future together - it includes ethics, morality,
transparency, authenticity and the ability to deal and speak truth.
When was the last time you heard of a 'truthful' budget or financial
results in either business or government?
If my mortgage payment is dependent on my job, will I dare to speak
my truth and go against company mandates even if I know that it is the
wrong direction?
What would it be like to run an organization that is not afraid to speak
its truth?
How will that affect our customers, suppliers and stakeholders?
The new and emerging leaders today lies in leading an organization that
encourages its workforce to speak their truth. It is the only way that
organizations will be able to deal with the increasing complexity in
the marketplace today. The faster truth is conveyed, the better we are
equipped to respond to all challenges.
